VidScribe Review – How to Transcribe A YouTube Video
Transcription & Subtitles Software
It automates the whole process of transcribing and generating subtitles files (.srt) for Youtube and offline videos
Only runs on a Windows machine. User interface could be confusing some times
So what is this VidScribe program basically?
Vidscribe is an automated transcribing tool. What it basically does, is take any video, be it in Youtube or offline, and listen to the audio and based on that audio, create a transcript of whatever speech is heard in the video. It uses AI (artificial Intelligence) technology to try and get an accurate picture of what it hears.
Once that transcript exists, it allows you to do several things. Among them, to create subtitle .srt files that can be added to any video, online or offline, it can embed the subtitles in the video or, it can dub the video in a series of different languages. So, in a nutshell, you can translate a video and dub it into a different language. All this automatically.
The BIG DIFFERENCE that VidScribe has..
Is that it is a standard offline Windows program, that means you must download it, and install it in your desktop. In this day and age, where most of the programs are in the cloud, it just makes me remember those time of downloading and installing. It's kind of fun still, because the internet tends to be much faster than back then anyway.
One big advantage, is the ability to upload your processed videos directly from the program. That means, you add your social accounts from Facebook, Youtube and Dropbox and then can just pick videos from your different campaigns and directly upload them from within the program, which is advantageous, because you don't have to get out and in different programs and windows to achieve your goal.
Another thing I liked during my review of the program, is the ability to embed subtitles. Let's say for instance, that you do a search in Youtube of videos in a particular niche that have the Creative Commons license, that allows reuse. By using this Vidscribe technology, you can modify the video in a way, that it can be re-uploaded without triggering Youtube's duplicate video algorithm. This, in and of itself, allows you to keep your channels safe.
By doing this in masse, you can start driving FREE TRAFFIC to whatever destination you want in your marketing.
How to use VidScribe?
As I mentioned at the end of the previous section, you can use Vidscribe to generate unique videos that can be uploaded to Youtube without trouble to generate traffic. Also, the fact that you can add videos in different languages, means that you can take advantage of LOCALIZATION, in other words, you can present the public with videos in their language, which can massively increase your organic traffic.
In a nutshell, Vidscribe offers you uniqueness and localization. Two very important factors when dealing with Youtube.
Are there any OTOs?
Of course, but you don't have to get all of them, just the ones that make sense to your purposes. Also keep in mind, that this are prices valid DURING LAUNCH and will certainly be higher afterwards. Having said that, let's just take a look:
2 Front End Options - $9.95 Monthly / $37 One time payment - I really don't imagine anybody doing a monthly option here. It makes no sense in my mind. However, it's there for anybody who wants to have it.
OTO1 - VidScribe AI PRO - $67 - This is the option that I reviewed and that you saw in the video above.
OTO2 - VidScribe AI Agency - $97 - Allows you to sell VidScribe AI accounts and keep all the money.
OTO3 - ViralReach PRO - $47 - Powerful SAAS helps you get viral traffic from Facebook
OTO4 - Traffic Jeet PRO - $47 - The most powerful YouTube market research suite gets you to the top of YouTube marketing.
Things you might not like
A couple of things may annoy you. First, the fact that it is ONLY a Windows program. That means, if you use a Mac, you'll either have to do without or jump through hoops in order to make it work.
A second thing is that, as you see me on the video, you might get confused as to how certain things work in the user interface. Don't take me wrong, it's clean and attractive, but there are a couple of things where it is not intuitive, so you'll just to learn how it works and adapt to it.
You also have to keep in mind that the automatic dubbing option uses a text-to-speech engine, which produces robotic voices. And even though there are several to choose from, it still is a computerized voice. However, the purpose of the videos created with this system is not to 'grow your channel', but to drive traffic to a specific destination, and they can do that easily. Just search in Youtube and you'll find tons of videos with robotic voices with millions of views. I rest my case!
Beyond that, and as far as I can tell, the program does what it promises.
The Bottom Line is...
If you want to generate transcripts AUTOMATICALLY and create .srt files for video subtitles, or if you think having localized videos, even dubbed videos in different languages makes sense for your business. You should get this tool. It will certainly make it easier to do your online marketing job and help you drive tons of traffic to a destination if you remain consistent and manage to make one of these videos go viral.
