So what is this Viddle in a nutshell?

First off, welcome to my Viddle Review!

Viddle is a VIDEO HOSTING PLATFORM that allows you to do things similar to Youtube, Wistia and Vimeo. But with some interesting twists.

The HUGE ADVANTAGE that Viddle has..

is that it was built from the get go with the intention of hosting video for marketers that have the intention to make money from those videos. That is one of the big differences between programs like Vimeo, Wistia and others like Youtube and Bitchute. 

The main purpose is that YOU are the main beneficiary and NOT just the video hosting provider like in the case of Youtube. This is the reason why Youtube always tries to divert your audience to ADS and RELATED videos from other videographers. You want to keep them at your channel or site, and Youtube wants to take them somewhere else.

Viddle DOES NOT do something like that. They want YOU to make money by letting YOU control your own videos.

It also allows YOU to act as an agency, in other words, to create accounts for others that you sell video hosting services to. So, basically, if you get the UNLIMITED OTO, you can start providing others with video services.

Another HUGE ADVANTAGE is that you can overlay things like optin forms on top of the videos, or limit the playing of the video only from certain domain or in certain countries. In my opinion, that's their unique selling proposition and it works for me.

A couple of gripes I have

Don't get me wrong, the program works as advertised and, given that it's software, you will receive updates as bugs are discovered. 

However, the things I discovered are more a design thing, for instance:

Because you're not using the Youtube API, you can't use the standard Youtube Share URL, you MUST use the complete URL at the top of the browser. Once you know that, no problem.

Also in Thrive Architect the program I used, the 'format' of the link from Viddle is not recognized as video, apparently because it is linking to the VIDEO PAGE and not directly to the video. To overcome the problem, you have to use the EMBED option and it works. This is how both videos on this page have been embedded, not just linked.

The Bottom Line is...

In my opinion, this has the full potential to replace Vimeo, Wistia and Youtube IF YOU'RE DOING VIDEO MARKETING, in other words, if you're thinking of making money with your videos outside of Google Adsense (the ads placed on your Youtube videos once you're monetized.)

The fact that Viddle is not robbing you of your audience is a huge plus, just like the fact that you can allow specific domains and countries to only play the videos. That is, in my opinion, the MAIN PLUS and makes it a BUY!
